Just one block away is a shopping centre with all amenities including a supermarket, Café & Restaurants, hair dressers, chemist, bank, post shop, fish '&' chip shop and more. Local gardens make a great place to study or relax. The Botanic Gardens and Woodhaugh Gardens both are within walking distance.
With a very handy location it's easy getting anywhere in Dunedin. Gardens College is within walking distance of the Uni, Polytech, Dunedin Central and several sporting grounds. A very regular bus system is just up the road, which runs through the Octagon all the way to St Clair Beach & The Esplanade, a great place to spend a sunny afternoon.

Once accepted to Gardens College a Deposit is required to secure the room. This is made up of:
